In his representation of homeowners associations, Michael has assisted associations with enforcing association rules, contracts, covenants, such as the “CC&R’s”, and other restrictions in court as well as arbitration proceedings. Michael is known for his strong work ethic and results-oriented approach for developing bespoke strategies to help clients obtain solutions that serve their objectives and needs. Michael also attends board meetings, reviews vendor contracts, drafts amendments to clients’ governing documents, and provides a full-service law firm for the firm’s clients, including collections related services. Michael believes that, at its core, his job is to help clients solve problems, whether it be through early resolution, custom-tailored solutions, or taking a case through trial.
Michael is also licensed to practice law in the state of Florida where a major newspaper in South Florida, the Sun-Sentinel, chose Michael to write the weekly HOA law column. Michael gained valuable trial experience at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office where Michael conducted numerous bench and jury trials. Throughout his career, Michael has focused his practice on homeowners association law and civil litigation.
The Reno Gazette Journal has also chosen Michael to write the newspaper’s HOA law column.
